CanSave began in 1982 as an Insulation Contractor founded by Larry and Cully Koza in Barrie Ontario.

While insulating attics, the Koza brothers would install Lomanco Whirlybirds for ventilation.

After the Barrie Tornado of 1985 there was a shortage of roofing materials. It was at this time that the distribution business began by supplying Whirlybirds to lumber yards.

Fast forward to today, and the evolution to a full scale manufacturing operation, while continuing to distribute roofing and building materials.

CanSave Group is now the sum of many different businesses including, CanSave, Cabinetsmith, Doorsmith, and Dajica.
